BAM Racing “VIP Race Weekend” Sweepstakes Official Rules

ENTRY/ELIGIBILITY. The “VIP Race Weekend” Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States and Canada (except Quebec Province, where it is void), who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor (BAM Racing), any co-sponsors associated with BAM Racing, their advertising/promotion agencies, as well as any of the respective immediate families living in the same household of such entities, are not eligible to win. Participants will be automatically entered by simply completing a digital entry form which can be found @ www.BamRacing.com, Participants may also enter online at the website or establishments of various BAM Racing co-sponsors. By entering online, all participants will receive a free copy of the BAM 49 Racing email newsletter, which also provides recipients with additional opportunities to enter, including a “Refer-A-Friend” option. Names and email addresses of entrants will only be used by BAM Racing, their associates, and their co-sponsors, and will not be sold to any third party. Recipients may cancel their subscription to the email newsletter at any time without affecting any entries that may have been submitted prior to opting-out.

DRAWINGS/WINNING. There are two separate VIP Sweepstakes per racing season, with drawings held in conjunction with the “Pepsi 400” race in Daytona in July, 2008, and the “Homestead Race” in November, 2008. You need not be present to win. Separate entries must be submitted for each of the two VIP Sweepstakes drawings, as entries from the earlier drawing will not be “rolled over”. Winners will be randomly selected, from among all eligible entries received, within five (5) days of each event and will be notified by email or in writing within five (5) days after each drawing. Winners must respond within seven (7) days after the email or written notification is sent. If no response is received within that time period, all rights, interests and claims of the selected entrant will be considered null and void and new winner will be selected and notified. If the selected winner was referred to the Sweepstakes by another entrant (the “Referrer”) through an online referral form, then the Referrer is also entitled to win a VIP Race Weekend for two.

PRIZES/VALUES/ODDS. Each respective winner and one travel companion of winner’s choice will be the guest of BAM Racing for a two day race weekend – the day before the race and the day of the race. The VIP Race Weekend includes coach airfare for the winner and their guest from a major airport nearest the winner’s and guests respective homes (limited to the continental United States), double occupancy hotel accommodations for one night, and meals at the track during track activities. Track access includes, but is not limited to; “Hot” garage/pit pass credentials, daytime use of the owner’s motor coach, meals with the team at the track, watching garage activities from team transporter, watching practices from atop the transporter, and watching the race from atop the pit box with the team owner. All other expenses associated with the prize and related travel, including ground transportation, food and beverages, telephone, gratuities, extended hotel stay, and in-room hotel services, are the sole responsibility of the winner to pay. As their prize, the winner may choose to attend any sanctioned race within one year of their written winner notification, based upon availability. Notice of winner’s choice of race must be given at least thirty (30) days before the desired race. The Sponsor will make every attempt to accommodate the winner’s race date preference, but is subject to availability. If the desired date is not available, the winner and their guest must agree to select an alternate date that suits winner and Sponsor. Total retail value of each VIP Race Weekend is approximately $2000, which will vary depending on winner/guest’s point of origin. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. All prizes will be awarded.

GENERAL TERMS/CONDITIONS. By entering and/or accepting a prize, winners agree to be bound by these Official Rules, to conform to all federal, state, local, and provincial laws and regulations, as well as those of NASCAR™ and of the sponsoring track. There are no prize substitutions, transfers, or cash value for prizes offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. An Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Waiver, and, where allowable, a Publicity Release (collectively the “Releases”), must be executed and returned by winner and guest within ten (10) days after their verbal acceptance of the prize, or an alternate winner will be selected. Entry constitutes permission for BAM Racing, its co-sponsors and/or NASCAR to use winner’s name, pictures, likeness, and address (city and state only) for advertising and publicity purposes for this or similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, without further compensation. In addition, winner and guest of the VIP Race Weekend must comply with all NASCAR™ and track regulations and may be asked to execute additional releases, agreements and hold harmless provisions required by NASCAR or by track owners. The Releases confirm winner’s and guest’s agreement to hold harmless BAM Racing, their co-sponsors, their associates, NASCAR, track owners, all other race teams, and/or any other entities and/or individuals associated with this promotion, from and against any damage, injury, or any other loss or liability whatsoever (including death) that may arise from their acceptance of or use of any prize offered, or their participation in this promotion, or in activities at any race or track (including travel to and from), related to any prize award. If a Canadian resident is selected as a winner, to conform with Canadian law, that individual will be asked to perform correctly and accurately, an unaided, multi-function mathematical skill question. All taxes on prizes won, if applicable, are the winner’s responsibility to pay.

WINNER’S LIST. To receive a winner’s list, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope after each drawing (but no more than 60 days after) to: BAM Racing, VIP Race Weekend Winner’s List Request, 11881 Vance Davis Drive, Charlotte, North Carolina 28269.
